Because the sellers of multi-million dollar properties make a lot of effort towards a fine showing experience for each potential buyer, they require us to show them proof that people coming to view their home are financially capable of making a purchase at this price point. You might be surprised to hear that we do receive a lot of calls from people wishing to see these luxurious homes just for curiosity's sake, rather than to purchase. Please remember that these estates and mansions are indeed someone's home, and their privacy is our priority. We must honor that and will ask you, on behalf of the seller, to provide them with something to vouch for your financial ability to make a purchase at the list price of the home that you would like to see. It has been our experience that those who are truly serious about purchasing a home at these list prices never have an objection to this, while the ones who get downright obnoxious in response to our request never had any intention of buying and couldn't afford it in the first place.
